I found this website today... as I worked very hard.. obviously ;)

There are some cute ideas on it. I am going to post it so I will take some more time to look it over later. It's not just baby things... it's all things. Check it out!

A Few things found....

I love the vintage looking ABC cards. I will need to keep my eye out at the Third Market Sunday this month. These would be cute framed up... i was thining instead of wood letters on the walls with the child's name spelled out, use these cards and frame the letters of his/her name.

i love tree murals.... especially with monkeys hanging from them.

Ebay had some very cute wall decals. I will look on there if I decide to decorate with them.

This idea is very similar to what i was trying to describe to my husband. My idea, however, was to have the shelves/cabinets built all around the crib against the wall. But who says the crib has to be against the wall??? hmmm.... maybe i will consider it elsewhere :)

Modern Nursery

Very cute but way too much!!! I like the idea that it's modern and colorful without looking like a baby room... I don't want winnie the pooh- or any other character on my walls.

10 months later...

ok ok.. so i didn't take the time to blog like i had hoped for the new year. Oh well... I am just happy I remembered my login. :)

Exciting news!!! I have a new purpose for the blog site. I am going to post baby stuff on it as I find baby ideas on the web so i am not printing photos and then losing them. I have 8 months to come up with a baby room idea and it's never too late to start looking for ideas, right?!

so... let's give this another try. To all those that are not reading this... wish me luck!!

A New Year

So, it's a NEW year- full of NEW resolutions ( aka promises to ourselves that we will guarantee break ) Resolutions... they always sound so good and so fun- until you actually start them. I am going to make an honest effort this year to not overload myself and to only make resolutions that will be fun! And so here I am. I have decided to try the blogging one more time. Not sure why i am interested in doing so but since i never kept a diary or journal, I thought maybe this would be a way for me to vent and brag.

I am not sure who will read this blog. I don't know if I even want anyone to read this blog. I just want to take a chance with it and see if my creative juices are relieved. This will be a new creative outlet for me. There are other creative things I can be doing such as art. I love art but I never know what to draw or paint. I love reading but i don't know what new books to buy. I love shopping but it too is part of my New Year... or shall i say NOT shopping is part of my New Year. hahaha I decided that I don't need to let shopping be my only way of having fun- Nope! I decided that there is more out there than spending money. I just have to find it.

Findng THAT something might not be easy. I have been wanting to find this for years. It all started when I got seriously involved with my husband. I have always been jealous of my husband's racing. It wasn't until a year or two that I finally realized not to let my jealousy ruin my husband's love. Just because I didn't have anything fun to do doesn't mean he can't. That was so selfish of me and looking back I hate myself for how I acted. Now that I explained my drive to find "my thing" maybe you will understand why I am willing to try bloggin.

I know writing is NOT my skill but writing to myself may make me realize what I want to do or maybe somehow I will tell myself what it is that i should try and what it is that I might be good at. We'll see...

So, here i am typing away. Typing the first things that come to mind. Let's just see how long ideas keep coming and let's see how long before i write my next blog! ( hopefully sooner than 5mos - HA! )
